Video Resume Program - New! St George & Sutherland Community College

Video Resume Program - New!

A workshop that helps students stand out from the crowd with a professional video in their next job or University application. This program teaches valuable skills to meet the latest digital demands of employers during recruitment. Students are taught how to write, record and edit a ‘piece to camera’ that showcases their talents and employability skills.

This can be tailored to any job, industry or role. You will learn special filming techniques such as using ring lights and tripods, how to set yourself up for recording and helpful editing tips to add music and text to your digital resume. You will also be taken through a job interview exercise to help you get confident on camera for both video resumes and online interviews. Towards the end we will create a professional title page with a headshot and edit this as a final package. The end product is a one-to-two-minute video resume and all the skills needed to keep producing high quality digital resumes for future jobs.
