This practical course will teach the student effective strategies and develop their conceptual mathematical understanding.
This course is for students in years 7 to 10 who wish to improve their academic standard through obtaining help with their homework or availing themselves of opportunities to complete extra course work. Each student works from an individualised program designed to meet their needs allowing for remediation, consolidation and extension work as required.

This program has been designed for students who wish to improve their academic standard through extra course work, help with homework, or revision of work learned in their school classes.

The student will develop their skills in one or more of the following areas.

• Number and Algebra
• Measurement and Geometry
• Statistics and Probability.

Within these strands they will cover a range of topic areas including:

• financial mathematical
• algebraic techniques
• equations
• linear and non-linear relationships
• surface area and volume
• properties of geometrical figures
• trigonometry
• data collection and representation
• data analysis
• probability

Entry Requirements:

• Students currently in Year 7 to 10
