Learn to Crochet - Taster

Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet, in this 2 hour course you will be shown the very basics of crochet.

Course Outline:

Learn how to create a slip stitch, chain and single crochet
The anatomy of a crochet hook
Learn about the different crochet terms

Learning Outcomes:

This course is to introduce you to the amazing art of crochet, if I do my job right you will leave with the ability to create a few very basic crochet stitches.

What to bring:

Nothing to bring! Your Crochet kit will be waiting for you on the day.

Kit (valued at $35) includes the following:

A high-quality 4mm crochet hook.
Good quality yarn 100% cotton 8 ply 50 gms (Approximately 100m)
Stitch markers (4)
1 canvas/calico case with your name on it
1 darning needle
1 pair of scissors/snips

Site Directions

West side of Jannali, closest cross street is Louise Street.
There is free onsite parking available and ample on road parking (not metered) if the car park is full.

Public Transport

From Jannali Station walk to the West side along Jannali railway (heading towards Sutherland), the fourth street on the right is Louise Street. Jannali Centre is at the end of Louise Street

Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, see Reception for directions to room. After hours and weekends look for the Customer Service Representative for room directions.
Onsite Cafe open Monday to Friday 8:00am-3:00pm, Sat 8:30am – 1:30pm. Outside these hours there are drink/snack vending machines onsite.
