Come and join SGSCC at this culinary workshop that will teach you how to make your all-time Indian food favourites in restaurant quality at your home, created by yourself. This one-day Indian cooking workshop aims to provide you with an introduction to Indian cooking and authentic Indian recipes, focused on the basics of Indian spices such as garam masala, ginger, garlic or curry leaves and how to properly use them to recreate your dishes at home.
The workshop will be predominantly demonstrator led, with some hands-on experience. Your tutor is originally from India, so she knows how to make authentic Indian dishes and she will show you step by step how to cook them yourself, letting you know about the little tips and tricks that will make the big difference in Indian cooking that will wow you and your friends! Learn how to cook Indian classics and favourites and join us for this fun and delicious food class.

Learning Outcome:
Understand the eating habits across the Indian subcontinent:
Understand the basic spices used in Indian cooking, common uses, where to buy them and how to store them
Understand the basics of a balanced Indian menu
Learn basic techniques for recreating tasty, healthy Indian dishes at home

All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.

Public Transport
From Jannali Station walk to the West side along Jannali railway (heading towards Sutherland), the fourth street on the right is Louise Street. Jannali Centre is at the end of Louise Street
