  • People over 60
  • People over 50 with a lifelong disability
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people over 50.

About the Tutor:

Your tutor is an experienced digital skills educator who specialises in supporting adult and senior learners. They understand that smartphones can feel confusing or intimidating at first, especially if you’re new to touchscreens and apps. With a calm, patient teaching style, your tutor explains everything in plain English and demonstrates each step before guiding you through hands on practice. They create a safe, welcoming space where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of learning, and no one is rushed. With extensive experience delivering community based technology education, your tutor focuses on building confidence first — helping you feel comfortable, capable, and proud of what you achieve during the session.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run (we try our hardest to get those). If your course does not have enough students, it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
