Training NSW - Link

Training NSW, part of the NSW Department of Education, leads vocational education and training initiatives to improve skills and employment outcomes across the state. 
Through funding, guidance and program delivery, they support our College by enabling access to accredited training pathways that build practical, job-ready skills. 

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) - Link

The NDIS is a national program that provides funding and support to Australians with disability, helping them access services and achieve greater independence. 
Through our partnership, we support NDIS participants by delivering programs and services that enhance skills development, participation and inclusion within the community. 

Sutherland Shire Council - Link

Sutherland Shire Council is the local government authority serving the southern Sydney region, supporting community development, infrastructure and local initiatives. 
They partner with us through event support, grant opportunities and community initiatives that strengthen local engagement and create opportunities for our participants. 

The Family Co - Link

The Family Co. is a leading provider of domestic and family violence support services in the Sutherland Shire, offering comprehensive assistance to individuals and families in need. 
We work closely together to support the community through shared initiatives, including events, donation drives and the use of our space for programs and additional support services. 

Sutherland Shire Business Chamber - Link

The Sutherland Shire Business Chamber represents and advocates for local businesses, driving economic growth and connection across the region. 
Our partnership fosters collaboration through networking opportunities, shared events and hosting business meetings, helping us connect with a broader community and industry network. 

NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) - Link

The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) is an independent, not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation that provides advice on education and training, ensuring Aboriginal community perspectives are represented and respected. 
We support AECG’s work by providing our Yarning Circle and meeting spaces for gatherings and annual meetings, while collaborating on events and initiatives that strengthen cultural connection, community engagement and support for Aboriginal learners. 

CIVIC - Link

CIVIC is a disability support organisation empowering individuals to exercise choice and control, achieve their goals and actively participate in the community. 
Our partnership brings CIVIC’s on-site café and canteen to our campus, providing quality food and coffee for students and staff while also serving as a vibrant space for events, meetings and community connection. 

Community Education Australia (CEA) - Link

Community Education Australia (CEA) is the national peak body representing community-based adult education providers, focused on accessible learning and positive social outcomes. 
As part of the CEA network, our College aligns with and contributes to a broader community of providers committed to inclusive education, lifelong learning and supporting individuals to re-engage with study and employment pathways.

Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) - Link

Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) is a leading organisation dedicated to supporting people on the autism spectrum through education, services and inclusive, safe environments. 
In partnership with Aspect and Aquinas Catholic College, we host Year 11 and 12 students on campus, where they learn in our classrooms, participate in college life and engage in events as valued members of our community. 

Reading Writing Hotline - Link

The Reading Writing Hotline is Australia's national telephone referral service for adult literacy and numeracy, helping adults find the right class to build their reading, writing and maths skills. The Hotline refers local callers to SGSCC, connecting adult learners in our region with our foundation skills and literacy programs.   

Adult Learning Australia (ALA) - Link

Adult Learning Australia is the national peak body for adult and community education, advocating for lifelong learning opportunities for all Australians. As a member organisation, SGSCC contributes to and draws on ALA's sector research, professional development and advocacy to strengthen community-based learning in the Sutherland Shire. 

ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) - Link

ASQA is the national regulator for vocational education and training, responsible for ensuring quality across Australia's registered training organisations. SGSCC is registered with ASQA (RTO 7091), and our nationally recognised qualifications are delivered in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025. 

Community Work Australia (formerly ACWA) - Link

Community Work Australia is the national professional body for community workers, accrediting diploma and higher education courses across community and human services to ensure they meet industry standards. SGSCC's Diploma of Community Services holds Community Work Australia accreditation, giving our graduates a nationally recognised mark of quality and a pathway to professional membership.

Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation - Link

Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit organisation supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the Sutherland Shire and Georges River areas, delivering culturally safe community, youth and aged care programs. As our neighbour in Jannali, Kurranulla partners with SGSCC to connect First Nations community members with training, leisure and lifestyle  courses and  learning pathways, Our Yarning Circle is our shared community space. 

WHOS (We Help Ourselves) - Link

WHOS is one of Australia's largest non-government drug and alcohol treatment providers, delivering residential therapeutic community programs for people recovering from alcohol and other drug dependence. SGSCC provides training to WHOS, supporting participants to build skills and confidence as part of their recovery journey.  

Homes NSW - Link

Homes NSW is the NSW Government agency responsible for social housing, homelessness services and building stronger communities across the state. In partnership with Homes NSW, SGSCC delivers foundation skills training under the NSA program at AB Central, helping residents build the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills that open doors to further study and work. 

Community Hubs Australia - Link

Community Hubs Australia runs a national network of hubs embedded in primary schools that connect families from diverse cultural backgrounds with their school, local services and the wider community. SGSCC delivers nationally recognised qualifications within the hubs, bringing accessible training directly to hub clients in their own community.   

Southeastern Sydney Local Health District - Link

Southeastern Sydney Local Health District delivers public hospital and community health services across southeastern Sydney, including St George and Sutherland Hospitals. SGSCC delivers TAE training to District staff, building a workforce of skilled educators who can pass on clinical knowledge and expertise within their hospitals.

NSW Department of Education - Link

The NSW Department of Education is the state's largest provider of public education and training, responsible for delivering and funding vocational education, adult and community education, and skills programs across New South Wales. SGSCC is an approved training provider under several NSW Department of Education funding programs, delivering subsidised and fee-free training that opens pathways to work and further study for our community. 

Smart and Skilled 
Smart and Skilled is the NSW Government's program for subsidised vocational education and training, helping people gain the skills they need to find a job and advance their career. As an approved Smart and Skilled provider, SGSCC delivers government-subsidised qualifications from Certificate II through to Diploma level, with fee-free places available for eligible students in selected courses.  

ACE Program (Adult and Community Education) 
The ACE Program funds not-for-profit community education providers to deliver accessible, flexible training to learners who may face barriers to education and employment. Through ACE funding, SGSCC delivers foundation skills and vocational training in supportive community settings, reaching learners who might otherwise miss out on formal education pathways.  

NSA (National Skills Agreement) 
Under the National Skills Agreement, SGSCC delivers fee-free foundation skills training that builds the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills adults need for everyday life, further study and work. Ensuring Access to Foundation Skills Training is a joint initiative between the Australian and New South Wales governments. 

Orana - Link

Orana is a not-for-profit organisation providing disability support services, empowering individuals to live independently and participate fully in their community. 
We are building a collaborative partnership with Orana, with a shared focus on creating future opportunities that support student pathways, independence and community inclusion. 

Recovery College - Link

Recovery College delivers educational programs that support mental health recovery through learning and personal development. 
They utilise our classrooms to run their courses, creating accessible learning opportunities within a supportive and familiar environment.  

 The Youth Partnership - Link

The Youth Partnership provides young people with education, training and employment opportunities to support their future pathways. 
Through our partnership, their business students complete work experience at our College, gaining valuable, real-world skills in a supportive setting. 

Business NSW - Link

Business NSW is a leading organisation representing businesses across New South Wales, advocating for growth, innovation and economic development. 
Our connection supports engagement with the broader business community, creating opportunities for collaboration, industry insights and professional networks. – Bernadette to update.  

Sharks Have Heart - Link

Sharks Have Heart is the community arm of the Cronulla Sharks, delivering programs that promote inclusion, wellbeing and community connection. 
They support our students through engaging clinic sessions and special event days, with players participating in activities and celebrating key events alongside our College community. 

Tech Savvy Seniors – Department of Communities and Justice - Link

Tech Savvy Seniors is a program funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice that helps senior Australians build digital skills and confidence. 
We deliver Tech Savvy Seniors classes on campus, providing accessible training opportunities while receiving funding support to benefit our community. 

Sylvanvale - Link

Sylvanvale is a disability service provider supporting individuals to live meaningful and independent lives. 
We work closely together to support shared students, creating a coordinated approach where individuals can engage with both services to enhance their learning and development. 

The Disability Trust - Link

The Disability Trust provides a range of support services for people with disability, families and communities. 
We support their workforce by delivering essential training, including manual handling and first aid, to ensure staff are well-equipped in their roles. 

Project Youth - Link

Project Youth is a community organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people through programs, advocacy and services. 
Our partnership focuses on supporting local youth by connecting them with education, training and community-based opportunities. 

 PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club) - Link

PCYC is a youth-focused organisation delivering programs that promote wellbeing, leadership and community engagement. 
We work together to support young people through shared initiatives and programs that strengthen connections within the community. 

 Sutherland Police - Link

Sutherland Police provide law enforcement and community safety services across the local area. 
They engage with our students through regular visits, delivering informative sessions that build awareness, confidence and understanding of community safety and support services.
