WorkSkills - Youth Pathways
SGSCC Youth Pathways
Your future starts here.
School is not the right fit for everyone, and that is completely okay. SGSCC Youth Pathways is a supportive two-year program for 15 to 18 year olds who are ready to re-engage with learning in a different way. You will build real skills, grow your confidence, and map out a clear path to work or further study, alongside people your own age who get it.
What you will gain
- Real, hands-on learning. engaging sessions where you learn by doing, not just sitting and listening
- Two nationally recognised qualifications. start with FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, then step up to BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
- Life skills for the real world. managing money, digital skills, cooking, and getting along with others
- Confidence and personal growth. develop the self-belief and life skills to back yourself
- Industry tours. get out and see real workplaces and careers up close
- Ongoing support. we stay in your corner with follow-up support after the program
Where it can lead
On successful completion, your qualifications open doors. You can apply for a traineeship or apprenticeship, or continue on to further study. It is a real first step towards the future you want.
How it works
- 9:30am to 3pm, with a half-hour lunch
- 3 days per week
- 12 months for each qualification (Two years in total)
