What you need to know about this course:

  • New students are expected to attend a mandatory college orientation before course commencement. Orientation times and dates will be advised after enrolment.
  • Classes commence at the beginning of week 1 of each school term
  • There is no training during school holidays
  • Students will be accepted into the class throughout the term
  • Private Facebook groups are used to share resources and learning
  • Resources are provided by SGSCC
  • WiFi is available

Course entry requirements:

  • Students must complete an English language, literacy and numeracy assessment to determine that the student has sufficient skills to successfully complete the course
  • Unique Student Identifier (can be arranged through SGSCC)
  • Pre-existing technology skills to access and navigate the internet and be able to create, open and save electronic files
  • Confidence to work independently

Do you need to complete any work placement hours?

No, there are no work placement hours required.

Will you need to sit for any exams?

  • No. This is a competency-based course
