The use of correct punctuation helps to maintain the writer’s or business’s credibility. It also helps the reader easily understand the information you are giving them.

This workshop will allow you to take control of your writing and present your voice to your reader in a clear, professional manner by exploring punctuation rules and participating in exercises to perfect your skills.

Workshop Content:

This content may vary slightly depending on class needs;

  • Everyday terms used in punctuation; exclamation, quotation, speech and question marks, commas, semicolons, apostrophe, a hyphen, brackets, period, and ellipsis
  • Identifying what they are and how to use them correctly.
  • Punctuation rules
  • Practical application
  • Punctuation exercises
  • Knowing the common mistakes people make so you can avoid making them.
