HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting

This course applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs.

This training also includes:

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

HLTAID011 Provide first aid

Fee: $150

Delivery: Saturday, 9am-5pm

Duration: 8-hour course

Pre-Study Requirements:

This course has a pre-study component that must be completed before attending. The pre-study is designed to go through the theory of HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting. 

On the day, your trainer will take you through the practical application of HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting. 

The pre-study can take up to seven hours to complete; please ensure that you have allocated sufficient time to complete the pre-study before attending. 

Your pre-study is marked automatically as you complete each task; however, you will not achieve a 100% result as your trainer will have to sign off on the practical component on the day.
