Choose from a variety of fun themes like abstract waves, arches, or palm trees. You will be guided every step of the way, from mixing texture paste to blending colours and shades. You’ll also learn cool techniques and how to use different tools to create stunning effects. By the end of the class, you’ll have crafted two of your very own masterpieces to take home and show off. Get ready to unleash your inner artist and experience the magic of textured art!

This course is also suitable for children (minimum 12 years old) and must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.

Course Outline:

• Overview of textured art and explanation of course objectives
• Choosing a theme (abstract waves, arches or palm trees)
• Demonstration and hands-on practice mixing texture paste and blending colours and shades to suit chosen theme
• Tools and techniques used for various effects (brushes, scrapers, palette knives, etc.)
• Step-by-step guidance through the creation process
• Individualised assistance and feedback from instructor as needed
• Conclusion and showcase of completed artworks

Learning Outcomes:

• Newly developed knowledge and skills to continue creating your own textured art masterpieces.

What to bring:

• Bring an apron or an old shirt if you have one. Otherwise, disposable aprons will be available
• Bring a tablecloth or drop sheet for your car to put your artworks on to take home
• And most importantly, don’t forget to bring your enthusiasm and willingness to experiment and try new things
