Using a needle and thread, hand-sew a project of your own. Select fabrics, ribbons, or laces to decorate your project using embroidery, sequencing, quilting, or applique. Create something beautiful for yourself or make a gift for someone special. Sewing requires you to focus, both physically and mentally on the task and helps to develops hand-eye coordination. Picking up a needle and thread is so good for us. It makes us feel good!

The STEP program is for persons with an intellectual disability. Each course runs for 2 hours per week.
