STEP - Sports and Fitness

Set yourself a fitness goal in the first session and measure your current level of fitness. All progress during the term will be recorded in a training booklet to track your progression towards achieving your personal goals. Some fitness sessions will include using equipment in our SGSCC gym and other sessions will be sports, games, or Bootcamp type exercise in the open spaces.

Students will learn the health and safety aspects of working out in a gym and training and supervision will be provided for each action or exercise. Suitable for all fitness levels.

To build your strength, fitness and flexibility, while enjoying training with a supportive and enthusiastic group. What to bring:

Wear comfortable clothing, covered shoes and bring a water bottle.

The STEP program is for persons with an intellectual disability. This course runs for 2 hours per week and is run from our Jannali site.
