This course is designed to help you understand photography basics in a fun group environment. The aim is to introduce you to the beauty and creativity the world of photography has to offer, whilst not over complicating the learning process, by growing your knowledge of photography jargon.

We understand that DSLR cameras can seem intimidating at first. That’s why SophieB is here to help! Within this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn everything you need to know about using a DSLR camera, from the basics of aperture and shutter speed to more advanced techniques like lighting and composition and how to use your environment to create the images you desire.

This practical hands-on course enables you to try the skills and techniques in the moment and get instant direction from SophieB. If you’re wanting to take that perfect Eiffel Tower shot, or impress your friends and family at special occasions, then this course is perfect for you!

Course Outline:

4 Sessions

  • What is the Exposure Triangle and how to use it.
  • How to use Photography Settings
  • Photography Tips and Tricks – Post Photography production.

  • DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
  • SD Card, 16GB minimum

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
