Tai Chi - Intermediate
Enjoy our Tai Chi Beginners class and wish to continue improving your well-being? Then join us in the Intermediate Tai Chi class and reconnect to your journey learning the slow gentle movements of Tai Chi. The continued repetition of these movements combined with deep breathing and meditation promotes energy flow throughout the body enhances mind-body coordination, develops strength, improves body posture, balance, and flexibility.
People who are attending Intermediate Class should have a basic knowledge of Tai Chi or have completed the Beginners Class. In this class, we will reinforce what you have learned, introduce you to the most popular Tai Chi Forms (Yang Style 24Forms). This form will be broken down into details and taught in 5 sections, each section will consist of 4-5 different Tai Chi movements, Ying and Yang, applications, and the breathing that combines with the movements.
The gentle movements of Tai Chi are easy to learn, however combining those movements into a continuous flow that becomes the Tai Chi form requires regular practice, the perseverance to set and achieve small incremental goals, and a willingness to develop your self-knowledge.
Course Outline:
- Standard warm-up exercises
- Tai Chi Walking
- Revision of your Tai Chi Routines & reinforce what you have learned
- Learn new movements progressively & understanding applications, qi flow
- Learn to relax and allowing your body to move naturally
- Cooling down exercises

About the Tutor:
- Accredited Tai Chi Instructor by Kung Fu Wushu Australia, National Coaching Accreditation Scheme
- Cert III in Fitness
- Direct Lineage of Yang Family 6th Generation, indoor disciple of Master Zhang Yong Tao (Beijing Yang Style)
- 6th Duanwei (Level), an International Duan Wei (Grading) System
- Trained in Singapore, Malaysia, and China under several well-known Masters and has the knowledge of several Tai Chi Forms, Qigong, and Tai Chi Weapons.
- Able to breakdown movements and explain applications of the forms, in-depth knowledge of Tai Chi Principles
- Competed in several International, Oceania & local competitions, collected several golds, silver & bronze medals
- Involved in running tai chi & qigong workshops, organising Tai Chi Events & performances, trained tai chi competitors to compete locally and overseas
- Started teaching Tai Chi Chuan in 2004 in Singapore, Malaysia, and now Australia

- To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
- All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
