Steady, Stable & Able Class - NSW Seniors Festival

Attend this FREE session that focuses on improving balance and strength, both of which are vitally important for older adults. Using hand weights, resistance bands, gym equipment, and bodyweight exercises, you will work to strengthen the major muscle groups. Specific balance exercises will help to improve balance and stability and protect against falls.

After your class finishes you can head to the onsite CIVIC Cafe for a complimentary tea/coffee and cake with your fellow "steady, stable and able friends."

What to bring:

  • Bottle of water
  • Towel
  • Please wear supportive shoes and comfortable clothing for exercise

Who is this session for:

  • People over 60
  • People over 50 with a lifelong disability
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people over 50.
