Sexual Health Education 1 - New!
Do you feel ill-prepared or uncomfortable with the thought of teaching your kids about their bodies, puberty and relationships? Don’t worry you can re-educate yourself about the human body, puberty and consent that you ever so briefly learnt about in school from an awkward and embarrassed teacher. While kids these days have an arguably better curriculum, it is still rushed, teachers can still be embarrassed, and it is probably taught at a later age than is ideal.
Your kids develop at their own pace so they may have questions earlier than their peers. They often come to you with their questions first and they trust that what you say is true. This means you need the knowledge and practise to confidently answer their myriad of questions in an age-appropriate way, since you are one of the most present adults in their life. The last thing we want is to inadvertently pass on our own misconceptions or embarrassment about the topics. This short course is designed to help you feel more confident in giving your kids correct information in a relaxed way that fosters openness and positivity.
