Modern Greek is the official language of Greece and Cyprus and is also used by more than 15 million people worldwide. If you are interested in learning Greek, acquiring conversation skills and immersing yourself in the Greek culture, then this beginners language course is for you.

Level 1, 6 months prior learning of the language necessary.

This language course is offered across 2 × 8-week terms.

Please bring a pen and paper. Some courses may require the purchase of a textbook, you will be advised of this by your tutor.

About the tutor:

She has completed a bachelor’s degree in Greek and in English Language and Literature at the university of Ioannina. She returned to Australia in 2012 after living and teaching in Greece for many years.

• To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
• All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
