Embroidery Workshop St George & Sutherland Community College

Embroidery Workshop

In this fun embroidery workshop learn how to express yourself using needles and thread. We have used this ancient art form for millennia and now you can use it too. We will begin the class with some basic colour theory and explore the different types of stitches. During the course, learn the basic stitches you need to use in various ways and create original handmade gifts and beautiful decor for your home.

This session is a hands-on experience, and your teacher Fayza will be there to help and answer any questions you might have. You will go home with your hand-stitched piece plus skills to embellish your clothes, homewares, and more. Learn all the basic skills required to create your first amazing embroidery artwork, while enjoying a nice cup of tea, coffee together at the College.
