Computer Basics Part 2

This course is the next step to understanding the basic operations of a computer, such as developing simple text documents in Microsoft Word, searching the internet and emailing in Microsoft Outlook. These skills are perfect to have if you want to operate your personal computer and basic computers in the workplace.

Basic understanding of PCs is assumed

In this course you will learn:

  • Refresh the basics of a computer
  • How to search, browse and save favourites on an internet browser
  • Emailing and organising messages in Microsoft Outlook
  • How to create a basic text document using Microsoft Word

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
