Cardio Boxing
Want a high-intensity cardio workout that is fun at the same time? Then join us at SGSCC for this fun group exercise class! Boxing is not only a great calorie burner, but it is super fun and a great stress reliever as well. Our cardio boxing class combines boxing using focus pads with high-intensity cardio machines (rower, bike, ski) and a special focus on building core strength to give you a great full-body workout and stress relief! Boxing is great for all levels of fitness and abilities. As well as burning fat and increasing physical fitness and endurance, our cardio-boxing class will also help you tone your body and improve your metabolism.
Course Outline:
Each session consists of several rounds of boxing, with each round different, along with a couple of rounds on cardio machines and a round of core exercises. You will alternate between boxing and padding for another person.

- Good boxing techniques
- Improved fitness levels and stamina
- Muscle toning and fat burning
- Improved core strength and endurance
What to bring:
- Towel
- Water
- You need to bring your Boxing gloves
- You also need to bring your own Boxing Hand Wraps (see example below) - these will protect your hands. These can be purchased from Rebel or a similar retail outlet.
About the tutor:
'I’ve been working in the health and fitness industry for over 16 years and during this time I have run many group fitness classes including boxing – cardio boxing – circuit – boot camp- beat Pilates – pop Pilates – and step. My passion and interest extends to all aspects of health and fitness and how it impacts our mental physical health and wellbeing. I have a deep understanding of not just exercise and fat loss but how it impacts our overall hormones. I love my role and program my classes with the intention of having a great workout but having fun as well.' Kerri
Other Information:
- To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
- All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
