Come along to our brunch cooking class and learn how to create that perfect Sunday brunch that your friends and family will love. Forget going out for poached eggs, learn how to make the perfect poached eggs! We will create a variety of favourite brunch recipes and give you some delicious breakfast ideas from around the world. In this class, we will take some of the classics and put a delicious twist on them by adding some fresh herbs and spices and using different seasonal fruit and vegetables.

Make classics like homemade baked beans and spicy potato cakes yourself. Learn some creative ways to cook different egg dishes from around the world. Master how to make the perfect pancakes. Dishes include Middle Eastern baked eggs served with pickled chilies, coriander, and thick fresh crusty bread, perfect poached eggs with oven-dried tomatoes, potato rosti, wilted spinach, and crispy prosciutto, and lots more! Join us at SGSCC and learn how to make cafe favourites and all loved breakfast classics yourself easy and step by step!

Course fee includes all ingredients.

  • Potato lentil cakes, tomato chilli jam, cucumber yoghurt, and balsamic glaze.
  • Poached eggs, oven-dried tomatoes, potato rosti, crispy prosciutto, and wilted spinach.
  • Middle Eastern baked eggs, pickled chillies, coriander, crusty bread.
  • Homemade beans and chorizo on toast.
  • Blueberry pancakes, walnut butter, and maple syrup.

About the Tutor:

Maria has worked in the food industry for over 20 years as a chef. She has gained a wealth of knowledge in many different hospitality environments. In restaurants both here in Australia and overseas, in food production for a dessert company and private catering specializing in organic vegetarian dishes. She has a passion for cooking home style comfort food. Along with her experience in the food industry, and love of teaching, she has created a number of classes taught at SGSCC, from “Pasta Making” and “Cooking with Vegetables” from scratch to a class filled with “High Tea Delights” and many more.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
