Yoga for the Over 50's

A gentle ‘go at your own pace’ yoga class which enhances peace of mind, vitality and well being. Soothing stretches that increase and improve flexibility, whilst building and maintaining body strength. Learn relaxation, breathing and meditation techniques for adding more peace in your life. Taught by an accredited Hatha Yoga Practitioner. This is a gentle style of yoga which is inclusive of all participants capacity and ability. Designed for those over 50 and those who are looking for a gentle style of yoga that includes deep relaxation techniques. Suitable for beginners and seasoned participants. In this course we will look at yoga as an exercise science an ancient practice of movement that will be gentle to your joints and you will benefit from all its aspects no matter whether it’s as person, body, mind and spirit. We will start by learning a core series of practices to establish a foundation of yoga movement that you can take home and practice. Each week we will add some new practices for specific health challenges such as insomnia, back pain, poor concentration and memory recall.

  • Yoga mat
  • Towel and/or blanket

  • It is recommended not to eat two hours prior to class.

Trained in Hatha Yoga, Counselling and Energy healing her classes have a holistic approach and she focuses on inspiring students to their fullest life potential. Her gentle and playful nature makes her classes fun, uplifting and inclusive.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
