Yoga Detox - An Introduction

A dynamic yoga program of flowing yoga practices to cleanse and rejuvenate the mind and body systems. Increase health and wellbeing. Explore the Yoga Health Science of Ayurveda for healthy food and lifestyle choices to combine with the Yoga Detox practices. Students Recommended to attend; Ayurveda – Yoga wisdom for healthy eating Workshop.

Course Outline:

  • Learn and apply yoga practices into your daily life for ongoing and short term detoxing of the mind and body
  • Includes, stretches, yoga sequences, breathing, supported balance practices, meditation and deep relaxation

What to bring:

  • Please bring yoga mat
  • towel and/or blanket
  • It is recommended not to eat two hours prior to class.

About the Tutor:

'I have been living a yogic lifestyle for over 27 years, based on a calming presence and peace. With my own personal experience with integrating yoga into my life for enriched daily living I bring a wealth of knowledge into the fun and relaxed classes I teach at SGSCC. I have undertaken Yoga training in Australia, India and New Zealand, including studies on Ayurveda the sister Health Science of Yoga. Krsnangi, is the name I am known by in the yoga world. My focus is community and I use my counselling and pastoral care skills in many varying volunteer roles to engage in and contribute to the local community. I am a creative soul who loves to dance, sing, write poetry and have even recorded a Meditation and Music CD.'

Apart from my extensive Yoga Teacher training, I love studying and learning to enhance skills. Some of my current qualifications and awards include:
