Yoga & Detox

Ever wanted to give your body a spring clean? To feel less stressed and more at peace? Find your energy again? Then join us for Yoga Detox. A unique combination of a weekly yoga class and an optional wellness program that you adapt to match your lifestyle, health status and needs. Discussions include what are toxins, where do we find them, why do we want to clean them out of our life, how they impact our home and body and how to eliminate them. What are the fasting options, when to do it and when not to. This course includes a dynamic yoga program of flowing yoga practices to cleanse and rejuvenate the mind and body, increase health and wellbeing. Stretches to increase flexibility and maintain mobility, breathing practices to de-stress, detoxify and energise. Meditation and deep relaxation to heal the impact of stress on your mind and body, to rest and restore. In addition to this course students are recommended to attend the workshop Ayurveda-Yoga Wisdom for healthy eating, which is designed to compliment the Yoga detox wellness program.

Course Outline:

  • Learn and apply yoga practices into your daily life for ongoing and short term detoxing of the mind and body
  • Includes, stretches, yoga sequences, breathing, supported balance practices, meditation and deep relaxation
  • Weekly discussion on lifestyle enhancement and the effect of food choices
  • Optional participation in detox program during course

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat
  • Towel and/or blanket
  • Notepad/journal, pens
  • It is recommended not to eat two hours prior to class.

About the Tutor:

Krsnangi brings a wealth of life experience in yogic living to her classes. Trained in Hatha Yoga, Counselling and Energy healing her classes have a holistic approach and she focuses on inspiring students to their fullest life potential. Her gentle and playful nature makes her classes fun, uplifting and inclusive.

Other Information:

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
