This term features first four weeks with bee and bread expert Penny Downy who will present; medical honey and religious significance of bees and honey as well as the history of bread making. Last four weeks with Pat Cranney Great adaptations: from book to big screen. Has your favourite book been made into a movie? Was the film version as good as the original? Comparing books to their cinematic adaptations may not be fair—the two forms of storytelling are very different. But exploring those differences can be fun.
