This practical workshop will teach the student how to communicate effectively, using considered language to persuade audiences for an increasing range of purposes for Stage 1.

Workshop Learning Intentions:

The student will learn how to…

  • create a persuasive spoken texts drawing on their own experiences
  • create a persuasive text on a familiar topic for known readers by planning, proofreading and editing their own writing.
  • use basic grammatical features and conventions of punctuation.
