Pasta Made Easy

Perfectly suited for all skill levels, this course will take you through the art of pasta-making step by step. Through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on learning, students will learn to prepare their pasta from scratch and customise it to their designs. We will cover the recipe and process for different pasta, the operation of pasta machines and a range of variations that students can incorporate into their cooking.

Course Outline:

  • Basic pasta dough
  • Operation of pasta machines
  • Roast Pumpkin ravioli with beurre noisette, Sage and Walnuts
  • Gnocchi with Pesto
  • Beef Ragu with Papperdelle

Learning Outcome:

What to bring:

  • Pen
  • Apron
  • 2 tea towels
  • Pasta machine
  • Ravioli tray or cutter (available at Home and Gift Warehouse, Taren Point)
  • 3 large containers
  • 3 medium containers
  • 1 large saucepan
  • 1 medium saucepan
  • 1 large frying pan

Safety First:

Please ensure you wear closed in shoes, long pants and ensure long hair is tied back.
