Organise and De-Clutter Your Home

Do your weeks fly by and you never seem to get ahead? Do you feel overwhelmed by organising and decluttering your home? Are you drowning in dirty laundry? Do you have piles of clean laundry on every flat surface? Have your kids toys taken over every room in your house? Fed up with trying to think of what to have for dinner each night? Is it a mad scramble each morning to get out the door on time? Do you have food that goes to waste in the back of the fridge because you forgot it was there or you were so tired by the end of the day that you couldn’t be bothered cooking?

Then this course should help you to regain control over your home – and hopefully save you money! In this 4-week course you will learn plenty of tips and tactics to bring some peace and calm to your home. Find out about some easy tips and tricks how you can manage it to declutter your home, get your cleaning tasks done and saving some extra money and spending time on the things you love and looking after yourself.

Course Outline:

Week 1 – Looking after yourself & meal planning
Week 2 – Laundry/dishes & cleaning schedules
Week 3 – Planning your week, paperwork & budgeting
Week 4 – Clothing cull & kids toys
Plus anything and everything in between.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Week 1: Self-care, start planning your weekly meals
  • Week 2: Get on top of the laundry and kitchen. Put some plans in place for cleaning your home
  • Week 3: Start planning out what needs to happen each week. Get on top of paperwork, tips for budgeting to save money
  • Week 4: Be brave! Get rid of clothes that you no longer wear/are damaged or stained/ no longer fit. Work with the kids on “donating” toys they no longer play with

About the Tutor:

Hi, I’m Ruth Brown and I love to be organised. I’m married with 2 adult sons that still live at home. I practice what I preach 90% of the time. Because let’s be honest – life can be crazy sometimes. But I have found that putting good systems into place help you get back on track even when you are busy juggling life as a wife/mother/working.

Other Information:

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
