Naked Cake!

Master the art of latest cake craze, NAKED CAKES – it is not as hard as you think! We start with learning how to make the perfect buttercream, then cut, stack, fill, frost and decorate a naked cake. You will also learn how to do the famous “drip”! Lastly, learn how to make chocolate shards for decoration. Such a versatile cake that can be the basis for so many occasions.

What to bring:

  • 2 high baked cakes (6-8 inches in diameter)
  • 500 grams butter (unsalted)
  • 1kg icing mixture (not sugar)
  • Vanilla essence
  • 1 packet white chocolate to melt
  • Cake board (Coles have a twin pack)
  • Sharp bread knife
  • 1 large bowl
  • x small bowls (microwave safe)
  • Tea towel
  • leaning/anti-bacterial wipes
  • All other tools & utensils are supplied for use on the day

Please note this cake will need to travel home on your front passenger floor or seat.
I have purchased a round hat/gift box from my local liquidator store that I use to transport my naked cakes, it costs $15 for the larger size but well worth the investment for peace of mind transport.
