The Myths & Truths about Smoking & Quitting

There’s so much conflicting information about Smoking and the alternatives to cigarettes and the different methods available for Quitting.

Course Outline:

  • Examine the myths and truths around smoking and clarify the contradictory information that is often fed to the consumer.
  • Investigate the alternatives to cigarettes and assess the perceived benefits.
  • Discuss the common reasons that people state for not quitting and determine if these are still valid today.
  • Explore the different methods available to quit smoking.
  • Discover what is involved to become a non-smoker.
  • Compare the benefits of becoming a non-smoker with that of a smoker.
  • Review the facts.
  • Finish the session with a relaxation exercise and each attendee will receive an information pack including a relaxation CD.
