Music Fundamentals

This workshop will cover several topics of music theory from the Grade 1 syllabus of the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB). You will learn notes on the treble clef, the formula for all major scales, note values, rests and how to count them. You will also learn at least 3 basic time signatures and how to count them. We will look at several key signatures and learn to understand what key you are in. Perfect for singers who don’t play an instrument and want to understand more about rhythm and the music they are singing and how to read it.
