Music Basics for Singers

This workshop will cover several topics of music theory tailored for singers. You will learn at least 3 basic time signatures and how to count them in music. Perfect for singers who don’t play an instrument and want to understand more about rhythm and the music they are singing and when to come in on a song after intro’s, after solos, and between verses.

We will also put some of the theory into practice with singing songs and rounds using the most common time signatures. Group singing only, no solo is required. Being able to sing is also not required. Good for anyone keen to know the basics of music theory.
