About the Tutor:
'My name is Karina Bradbury. I am a practicing artist, learning the endless challenge of juggling life and creativity. I have a Diploma in Fine Arts through St George TAFE (2010) and Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy through the College of Complimentary Medicine (2014). My educational pursuits have helped me form a passion towards art both as an aesthetic and enjoyable creative outlet as well as a way of healing, expressing and relaxing. Art is endless in its forms and it has formed us as humans through meaning making and understanding ourselves. I believe art should be accessible to anyone and free from judgement. Art can tell a story or it can make you feel something.
My beliefs:
- Art should be fun
- Art should be enjoyable to create
- Art can be beautiful, colourful and fun to look at
- Art is limitless – if we think outside the structured definitions we can then pursuit the true art of creativity
- Art is personal and has different meanings for everyone – every artist is unique
Art is my passion and where I get my energy and motivation. Learning art is simple, all you need is a bit of curiosity for creativity and the belief that art is subjective and therefore a personal experience.
I believe art is for everyone and there is a world of benefits, helping us find peace in a chaotic world and meaning to life and all its ups and downs.'
