Middle Eastern Cuisine - Shish Barak

This dish which we call Sheish Barak will get you to practice baking along with cooking at the same time. It has a different texture to most foods we have in the region and that makes it an occasional dish that the whole family (and maybe guests) look forward to having. You will learn two ways to cook this dish.

What to bring:

  • Paper and pen, or any tools to take note
  • sharp knife
  • apron
  • wear flat shoes

Safety First:

Please ensure you wear closed in shoes, long pants and ensure long hair is tied back.

About the tutor:

'My name is Aliaa I have had a bachelor degree in medical technology, and a master degree in media. Currently I am teaching, I like to inspire and spread positivity everywhere and strive to change others for the better. I am passionate in cooking special traditional dishes I like to cook Arabic cuisine, Italian food as well as chocolate truffles.'

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
