Middle Eastern Cuisine - Kabseh

In the Middle East, Kabseh is a popular dish, originally from the Gulf. It is a dish made of rice and meat, cooked either separately or together. It can be made with spices and camel meat, lamb, chicken or fish. It is usually eaten for lunch and sometimes for dinner. In this course you will learn how to cook Kabseh like a chef.

Course Outline:

  • You will learn how to cook a lamb and two types of rice

  • To know the type of rice
  • To know how to choose your spices and souse
  • Food hygiene and safety
  • The technique of doing every recipe

What to bring:

  • Paper and pen, or any tools to take note

'My name is Aliaa I have a bachelor degree in medical technology and a master degree in media. Currently I am teaching. Cooking is my passion, and I am so happy to teach others. I am well-known to cook authentic Arabian food in my community.'

  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
