Loose Watercolour Flowers

Use wet in wet watercolour techniques to create 2 or 3 loose watercolour flower paintings.

What to bring:

  • 3 tubes watercolour: Ultramarine blue, Permanent rose and Cadmium yellow (or bring blue, red and yellow tubes of artist quality watercolour paint). Optional extra tubes: Raw Sienna and Burnt Sienna
  • 3 watercolour brushes: medium round brush with a good point, small dagger brush, medium hake brush.
  • 3 sheets A4 watercolour paper (or 3 quarter sheets) – must be quality watercolour paper such as Arches or Saunders Waterford or you will be disappointed with the results.
  • Also bring: 2 or 3 boards larger than your paper, masking tape, palette, spray bottle, old towel for the table, masking fluid + old brush/applicator.
