Learn to Sew Your Own Basket

Learn to sew your own basket with your sewing machine, this technique can be used to make a variety of homewares like baskets, coasters, placemats etc. Once you learn the skill you will be hooked. During this class you will complete one basket to take home.

What to bring:

You will need to bring your own sewing machine threaded top and bottom with Gutermann cream Polyester thread. You will also need to bring your scissors and you should always have spare sewing needles for any sewing class you take just incase you break one. You can use your 80 or 90 needles on this project.

About the Tutor:

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
