Learn French, Level 6 - Part 2

French level 6 Part 2 is a continuation of learning and building on previous skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in French, therefore extending your knowledge and understanding of the language. It focuses on conversation skills and improving your ability to engage in daily life activities. You will meet other people with different skill levels, but with the same goal to improve your French by keeping learning and practicing with each other. Discussion of cultural events and issues in French-speaking countries offers greater opportunities for oral interaction.

Level 6, approximately 3 year’s prior learning of the language necessary.
This language course is offered across 2 × 8-week terms

  • Saying what you do for a living.
  • Understanding what qualifications are needed for certain jobs.
  • Asking of hours of work and opening times
  • Saying whether you like your job or not, and why.
  • Applying for summer job.
  • Taking part in a job interview.

Grammar

  • Using the conditional tense.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of this French level 6 part 2, you should be able to:

About our Tutors:

Fatima – Fatima is a French native speaker; she has 17 years of teaching French in different community colleges. She loves the French language and its culture. She often travels to France to spend time with family and she recently spent a week in “Le Touquet ” in the North of France which she loved very much.
She provides a multi-media experience for language acquisition, which includes use of video, role play and literature.

Georgette – Bonjour, I am a native French speaker and I look forward to igniting your passion to learn by sharing my knowledge and appreciation of French language and culture. I will use class conversations, online media and songs in a relaxed and fun environment.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
