Learn to Knit - New!

Knitting is a relaxing craft you can do anywhere and anytime. Knitting has long been thought of as a craft that only nannas do. This could not be further from the truth as there are so many contemporary designs available for all skill levels and tastes! Whether you are a complete beginner or have learned to knit previously but are a little rusty on your skills, this course will cater to everyone from novices to nannas!

Over several weeks you will learn basic stitches as well as how to cast on and cast off. Learn how to read patterns as well as design elements and how to select the right yarn and needles for your garments. Throughout the course, you can expect to complete a small project such as a scarf, hand warmers, cowl, or slippers. So come along and have a yarn with fellow makers whilst you create a garment of your choice.

'Jen is a knitting enthusiast who begged her grandmother at a very young age to teach her how to knit. This then began a life-long love affair with knitting and Jen spends many hours on a couch, as a passenger, or as a spectator at kid's sports games, completing her various projects. Jen has made everything from hats, gloves, sweaters, baby clothes, blankets, and more. She would love to bring her passion for knitting to the class and help others discover their inner knitter. Jen shares her projects on Instagram via @parklifeknits'
