About the Tutor:

Hi!
I’m Daisy. I was born and raised in Indonesia. I am fluent in Indonesian and understand the cultures.

I teach ESL (English as a Second Language) and I have the passion and patience for teaching languages to others. I think I can apply similar approaches in teaching Bahasa.

I enjoy teaching students from various cultural backgrounds and continuously enhance my cultural sensitivity. I create a safe learning space and help my students to achieve their learning goals.

Living in Sydney has sharpened my cross-cultural communication skills. I strongly believe that learning new languages will broaden our minds and encourage us to step out of our comfort zones to see the world from a different perspective.

When I am not busy teaching, you can find me bushwalking or trying new recipes in the kitchen. I love travelling and enjoy chatting with people from all walks of life.

Other Information:

  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
