Italian Desserts

Classic Italian desserts are a celebration of flavour and texture. In this course we will go through some of Italy’s most famous sweet treats whilst learning some fundamental skills and techniques to introduce contemporary flavours to well loved classics. From silky smooth panna cotta, to perfectly crisp cannoli, this is a workshop not to be missed.

Course Outline:

  • Classic Tiramisu
  • Cannoli with various fillings
  • Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta

  • to prepare Cannoli with a variety of fillings
  • to prepare Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta
  • food hygiene and safety
  • to work individually and in a team

What to bring:

  • Pen
  • 2 large containers
  • Apron
  • 6 × 125ml ramekins
  • 15cm square dish or cake tin (approx.)
  • 4 cannoli moulds (These can be found at stores like spotlight)
  • 2 tea towels
  • dish cloth

Safety First:

Please ensure you wear closed in shoes, long pants and ensure long hair is tied back.
