Fit for Life

Is your health and fitness stopping you from enjoying the life you want to live? Do you suffer from muscular and joint pain that limits your life? Well, this class is for you. Suitable for beginners to experienced exercisers and all levels of fitness, this circuit class uses easy to follow exercises and utilises cardio machines (such as a stationary bike and treadmill) and resistance bands and free weights to not only improve your fitness and strengthen the muscles you use every day but to also improve the way you move (such as squatting, lifting and even walking). In the process we will help you to reduce pain whilst increasing your flexibility and mobility, allowing you to live the life you want. Remember: you are never too old and it is never too late to get Fit for Life!

Course Outline:

  • Circuit style class focusing on improving muscular strength, flexibility, and mobility;
  • Cardio machines (including exercise bikes and treadmill) to improve fitness and heart health;
  • Utilise resistance bands and free weights to strengthen muscles that support and move joints;
  • Focus on improving technique for performing movements we all do every day (such as squatting and even walking)

  • Increase mobility and flexibility
  • Improve the way you perform everyday movements
  • Reduce pain and discomfort doing everyday movements

Other Information:

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
