Easter Basket Cake

Wow your friends and family this Easter with this adorable Easter Basket cake! Use your cake decorating tools to their fullest potential and think beyond the instructions that come on the box! Learn the art of “Basket Weave” & “Grass” piping by making this adorable Easter basket.

Course Outline:

1)Basket Weave Tip:
These decorating tips have a dual personality. One side is smooth, which makes flat stripes of icing, and the other side is serrated, creating a ribbed pattern. It’s uniquely suited for creating woven-looking designs.

2)Grass Piping Tip:
The grass icing tip can be used to create many fun textures and designs other than grass, in this class we will be piping grass, but also discuss other uses for this tip, ie, birds' nests, wreaths, yarn, noodles, fur or hair, flower centres & pine needles.
