Decadent Cupcakes - New!

The purpose of this class is for beginners to learn how to bake cupcakes that not only taste delicious but are also decorative. No previous baking experience is required. You will be guided step by step, through ingredient selection, mixing, baking and icing techniques. These recipes can be taken home and made with the most basic baking equipment.

I look forward to sharing my passion for baking, where having had an interest in cakes for over 20 years, I have been re-energised by making these decorative, yummy creations which have always brought a smile to my friends and family, along with high praise and compliments. I will teach you three of my favourite recipes: Cinnamon Crumble Cupcake, Iced Vovo Biscuit and Easy Choc cupcakes. All ingredients supplies. Once you learn the basics, you should have enough confidence to make and bake other creations, or even experiment with flavours and decorations for yourself.

About the Tutor:

'Having learned cake making from my mother in Northern Ireland, I am largely self-taught when it comes to cupcakes. Over the past year, I have baked and iced hundreds of different cupcake creations honing my technique largely through trial and error. I look forward to sharing what I have learned with beginners, where I am confident this self-teaching aspect will be a perfect basis from which we can collaborate upon.' Ruth
