Cupcake Bouquet!

We start with learning how to correctly colour buttercream and fill piping bags. Learn how to pipe using piping bags, tips and the correct techniques. Once you have mastered these piping techniques, we move on to the real thing, our cupcake bouquets. Learn how to construct your supports, fold your florist paper and then pipe your bouquet, what a fun cake to learn and add to your skillset.

What to bring:

  • 16 cupcakes

  • Bag marshmallow

  • Paper disposable cups to sit your cupcake in (you don’t want your cup too big that your cupcake falls in)

  • Sticky tape, stapler & scissors

  • Cellophane paper (2 different colours) you will need solid colours as this is what hides the supports

  • Green cello paper or florist paper to form the leaves (as per picture)

  • Ribbon for the outside of your bouquet

  • 5 x medium bowls to mix your coloured buttercream in

  • 5 x spoons

  • optional piping bag and 1M piping tip (if you don’t there will be one provided for use in class so no stress if you can’t get one(Spotlight, Big W, cake decorating shops have these)

  • Tea towel

  • cleaning/anti-bacterial wipes

  • scraper

Safety First:

Please ensure you wear closed in shoes, long pants and ensure long hair is tied back.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run (“we try our hardest to get those”). If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
