Chocolate Masterclass

There is nothing more gorgeous or luxurious than chocolate. This workshop will cover everything from basic techniques like how to properly melt and temper it to some real chocolate magic. So bring your sweet tooth and get ready for some seriously decadent and indulgent recipes.

Course Outline:

  • Melting and tempering chocolate
  • Chocolate Truffles
  • Frozen chocolate gateau
  • Impossible Chocolate Mousse
  • Salted chocolate tart
  • Chocolate Souffle
  • Edible chocolate decorations

Learning Outcome: Student Learns:

  • to prepare a variety of chocolate dishes
  • Food hygiene and safety
  • to work individually and in a team

What to bring:

  • Pen
  • Apron
  • 2 tea towels
  • Palette knife
  • 4 small oven proof ramekins
  • small tart tin (approximately 15cm)
  • 2 large containers
  • 3 medium containers
  • cooking thermometer
  • Dish cloth

Safety First:

Please ensure you wear closed in shoes, long pants and ensure long hair is tied back.
