Cardio Boxing

Want a high intensity cardio workout that is fun at the same time? Then join us at SGSCC for this fun group exercise class! Boxing is not only a great calorie burner, but it is super fun and a great stress reliever as well. Our cardio boxing class combines boxing using focus pads with high intensity cardio machines (rower, bike, ski) and a special focus on building core strength to give you a great full body workout and stress relief! Boxing is great for all levels of fitness and abilities. As well as burning fat and increasing physical fitness and endurance, our cardio-boxing class will also help you tone your body and improve your metabolism.

Course Outline:

Each session consists of several rounds of boxing, with each round different, along with a couple of rounds on cardio machines and a round of core exercises. You will alternate between boxing and padding for another person.

  • Muscle toning and fat burning
  • Improved core strength and endurance

What to bring:

  • You need to bring your own Boxing gloves
  • Inner gloves to wear with the boxing gloves
  • Sweat towel
  • Water

About the Tutor:

'Shane has been working in the Fitness Industry for the past six years, he is a qualified Australian Combat and Exercise (ACE) Boxing and Group Fitness Instructor and has also been trained and held registration with NSW Combat Sports. Shane had further fitness qualifications having studied through the Australian Institute of Fitness (FIA) and has a current First Aid and CPR certificate. He has a strong enthusiasm for all things fitness, health and general well being. He has taught a number of disciplines and has been a boxing trainer for several years. He believes that traditional strength training along with cardiovascular conditioning is vital to living a healthy and active lifestyle. He looks forward to being a part of your fitness journey.'

Other Information:

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.
