Computer Basics Part 2
This course is the next step to understanding the basic operations of a computer, such as developing simple text documents in Microsoft Word, searching the internet and emailing in Microsoft Outlook. These skills are perfect to have if you want to operate your own personal computer and basic computers in the workplace.
Basic understanding of PCs is assumed
In this course you will learn:
- Refresh the basics of a computer
- How to search, browse and save favourites on an internet browser
- Emailing and organising messages in Microsoft Outlook
- How to create a basic text document using Microsoft Word

- To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
- All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to the commencement and you will be informed.

Site Directions
West side of Jannali, closest cross street is Louise Street.
There is free onsite parking available and ample on road parking (not metered) if the car park is full.
Public Transport
From Jannali Station walk to the West side along Jannali railway (heading towards Sutherland), the fourth street on the right is Louise Street. Jannali Centre is at the end of Louise Street

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, see Reception for directions to room. After hours and weekends look for the Site Co-ordinator for room directions.
Onsite Cafe open Monday to Friday 9:00am-3:00pm . Outside these hours there are drink/snack vending machines onsite. Jannali shopping precinct offers a variety of café and takeaway options, just a 3 minute drive away.
